MY JOURNEY

I'm majoring in Graphic Design and I'm excited for what awaits for my future. I will be starting my company of my own very soon. It will be up sometime next month. My company will be called "LunaDesigns" and the name is based off of me. My last name is Luna and I'm a designer, so that's how I got my name. It will be based off my artwork I've done in the past years. It will also include artworks I've been doing now. I have struggled over the years in my confidence in my artwork. Luckily I have such supportive friends who cheer me on and push me to improve myself everyday. My family has been such a big support as well. They were spectacle before though with my major because they knew nothing about it. But now that they've been seeing me enjoy my work they couldn't be any happier for me.

I have quite a variation of art styles. I work on digital designs, traditional work like paints, sketches with pencils and much more. I would like to create with my artwork prints to sell, make some sticker designs, to make some t-shirt designs as well and to make posters. I yet have to discover my own but this is just the start. I do have a sketchbook which I try to draw in everyday. Although since I do have such different variations of artworks; I find myself working on my iPad with my digital designs pieces and another day I can be painting on a canvas.

Down below you will see some of my artworks in display. The ones below are my anime posters I have been working on for the past months. It is my favorite type of artwork to do because anime artwork is so perfect with it's symmetry and playfulness.  If you click portfolio above you will see a vast majority of my artworks. I'm always trying to improve on my art work. At the moment I'm trying to work on more paintings. I have a lot more in store for the future.

TANJIRO

This was my first design on the iPad and it was such a major difference compared to working on the computer. I was excited to work on this piece because I am obsessed with this new anime. It is called Demon Slayer and it is a new anime that came out last year. This is my favorite character in the show and his name is Tanjiro. I drew Tanjiro here using one of his special ability. I had so much fun drawing this because I enjoyed everything about it. I enjoyed making the tones and the way the light bounced off his leg.                                

TODORKI

 I originally drew this drawing with marker and paper. I tried to make it look like it would look like in a manga page. Then I decided to make this design into a poster. The next step I did was draw it on my iPad and it came great as shown to our left. This is one of my favorite characters from My Hero Academia. This picture is also shown in the manga series and show.             

DEKU AND BAKUGO  

I originally drew this with marker and paper as well. Most of my drawings start off from my sketchbook. I see a lot of inspiration off of Pinterest. This is my two other favorite characters from my favorite show. Their names are Deku and Bakugo, Deku is the one on the left and Bakugo is one to the right. Once again I tried this artwork to look like it was drawn from a page from a manga book.     

NARUTO 

I first drew out this piece in my sketchbook. Then I decided to transfer it into digital art. All I had to do was scan the piece through my scanner and I just went to work on my ipad. Naruto is a show I recently got into because everyone recommended it to me. Naruto is a very popular anime that is still going on till now. Although the show is no longer called Naruto but it is called Boruto. Since the story continues on but it now follows Naruto's son.
