Abigail Melendez was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ and her medium is Photography and landscape. She has always had an interest in the arts department. Being born in a musically inclined family she was raised by a singing mother and a guitar playing father. Her older siblings being interested in theater, she pretty much dabbled in everything.

Though she is fond of singing and acting, she found her love for creating mid-high school in 2016 and when she graduated very soon after she started attending Saint Peter's University, though she didn't study Fine Arts. It took until her third year to finally switch to what she loved. She is now studying what she loves and appreciates and hopes to one day graduate as a Fine Arts major and Art History minor.

She wishes to find her true inspiration with her art. She's never had any of her work displayed in a collection, but she would like to change that some day. A huge influence figure in her life would be Meryl Taradash, one of her professors at Saint Peter's University- she pushed her to try new things. She’s never gotten any awards but also hopes to change that in the future.
